There is Well developed Herbal Garden having several numbers of medicinal plants for the purpose of almost all therapeutic value. Having a herbal garden is to protect and promote the therapeutic worth of plants that grow largely wild in our environment and whose characteristics aid in preserving a healthy balance between man and nature. Herbal garden is a valuable source of raw materials for medical treatments used in primary care. It has more than 100 different kinds of herbs showing their medicinal value. It provides an opportunity to students to enhance their traditional knowledge by studying their medicinal values.
It provides a strong impetus for Herbal Drug research and to impart training to the students. The plants grown are useful in the practical classes of Pharmacognosy and Herbal Drug Technology.
